As partner of the first Global Fintech Challenge, Covéa has rewarded the startup Testamento.
Launched by Agorize in November, this international innovation challenge for startups that have developed new banking and insurance services attracted nearly 130 Fintech and Insurtech players.
As sponsor of the Insurtech category, Covéa decided to support Testamento, selected from the five finalists that presented their projects on 14 March, on the theme “empowering policyholders to actively manage their own risks”.
Testamento wants to open up access to the drafting of wills in France so that everyone can make a will in a secure and simple way. Designed in collaboration with notaries and lawyers, its platform provides information on wills and succession, as well as a tool for drafting holographic wills.
To Claude Friedrich, Head of Research & Development and Antoine Ermeneux, Head of Marketing and Strategic Transformation at Covéa, “Taking part in the Global Fintech Challenge is another step in our strategy of facilitating and accelerating innovation with a view to providing the best possible customer experiences to our client base”.
Offering a €20,000 grant and access to its innovation programme, Covéa recognised the innovative edge of the web-based tool designed by the fledgling company and wishes to support its development.
